Matt Stover stepped up with a $10,000 check from his charity, the Matt Stover Foundation, with assistance from NFL charities.
“People say to me, ‘Matt, you’re a hero. But I see the kids and the nurses and doctors here as the heroes. I’m grateful to have a place like the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to take care of our children,” Stover said.
Matt played basketball for the students vs staff at Villa Maria. The foundation donated $10k. The students won 62-58.

Matt Stover accepts a Northeast High School football jersey from Principal Kathey Kubick during his appearance at the Pasadena school Monday night. Mr. Stover addressed a gathering of young Christian athletes at the event.
